About the Book:

Education is a vital part of children's lives, and schools play a significant role in shaping their future. While academic skills, achievement, and discipline are essential, social and emotional skills are equally crucial for children's success in their teen and adult lives. That's why at CCE Finland, we are committed to transforming education by incorporating Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) into the curriculum, as inspired by UNESCO's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Our recent 10th Symposium also emphasized the importance of SEL in schools as part of the curriculum. To help children develop these essential skills, our research team has created the Etiquette Learning and Public Speaking (ELPS) Workbook, recommended for K-5 students. This workbook, which was inaugurated during our 10th Symposium in Finland, is packed with hands-on activities, real-world connections, stories, and role-play, providing children with the tools they need to navigate social situations, communicate effectively, and build positive and mature relationships.

Early socio-emotional development is critical to creating the global citizens we want our children to be. As UNESCO has highlighted, social and emotional learning is key to promoting peaceful, tolerant, and inclusive societies. Teaching these skills to children is more effective than trying to correct behavior in adulthood.

To support teachers in implementing SEL in their classrooms, we offer complimentary teacher training on Social Emotional Development for bulk orders of our ELPS workbook. For bulk orders contact us at info@ccefinland.org for bulk orders.

Join us in transforming education and promoting social and emotional learning for a brighter future for our children.
